The Texas Department Of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident on Friday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was identified as 31-year-old Jennifer Wingard.
Around 9:52 p.m., the crash happened at the North I-35 near Old Settler’s Boulevard. The victim had significant injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. Later she was pronounced dead.
The events leading to the collision are not yet known. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
