The California Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle collision in Weldon that claimed the life of a 31-year-old man who has been later identified as Jack Lee Brown.
On Saturday at around 11:42 p.m., Lee Brown, travelling eastbound on Highway 178, was involved in a multi-vehicle collision. The events leading up to this are not clear at this time. As a result of the collision, Lee was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
