The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle collision in Turlock that claimed the life of a 31-year-old woman on Sunday. She has since been identified as Eileen Ordoniez.
Approximately at 3:30 p.m., a 17-year-old driving a 2013 Buick Sedan collided with a 2004 GMC truck at the intersection of Fulkerth and Faith Home Road. Eileen Ordoniez, the passenger in the Buick, was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
