31-Year-Old Adam Buckne Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Crash In Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

Former New Orleans police officer Adam Buckner, 31, tragically lost his life in a car crash while on duty in Arizona, according to the Tucson Police Department. The incident occurred on Easter Sunday around 10 p.m. as Buckner was responding to a backup call.

A sedan failed to yield at a traffic light, colliding with Buckner’s police cruiser. Despite Buckner having his emergency sirens and lights activated, the collision caused life-threatening injuries.

He was rushed to Banner University Medical Center in Tuscon but succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the sedan was also hospitalized. The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the present condition or the identity of the other driver. 

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. There are no other details available.
