The Washington State Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash on Sunday morning in Lynwood. The accident happened on Highway 99 at around 8:30 a.m.
Patrick Babb-Henry, 30, of Edmond was traveling south on the highway. According to the WSP, the car crossed all lanes in both directions, struck a concrete barrier and a utility pole, and then came to a stop in the center turn lane close to 156th Street SW.
Babb-Henry was pronounced dead at the scene after incurring fatal injuries.
The cause of the fatal crash was being looked into. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
Highway traffic in the area was disrupted by the collision for more than two hours. There are no other details available at this time.
