According to the California Highway Patrol, a man was killed in a motor vehicle rollover collision in Visalia on Tuesday.
At approximately 7:00 p.m., a 30-year-old man was driving a Ford at a high speed, south on Highway 216, heading to Beechwood Avenue. It collided with a Toyota travelling north on SR- 216 which attempted to turn west onto Beechwood Avenue.
The driver of the Ford was thrown off the vehicle due to the force of the collision. He was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
