In a tragic motor vehicle accident on Highway 101 in San Jose, a 30-year-old man from Southern California lost his life early Saturday morning. The driver, hailing from Perris in Riverside County, was operating a grey Toyota Sienna heading north on Highway 101 around 3:15 a.m.
The vehicle broke through a guardrail on the right shoulder, causing it to overturn and roll down an embankment onto Coyote Road. Sadly, the driver was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the fatal crash site. His identity has not yet been released.
Coyote Road experienced closures for several hours but has since reopened. However, no alcohol or drugs were on the site.
