The Grapevine Police Department reported a fatal T-bone crash on Saturday. The accident occurred on Highway 114 just after 11 p.m.
According to the officials, a sedan had hit a light pole before overcorrecting and being T-boned by a pickup truck after crossing several lanes.
The driver of the sedan was stuck inside the vehicle. Emergency crews attempted to free him but he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The identities of the victims have not been disclosed at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. There are no other details available at this time.
