Heather Lynn Fink, a 30-year-old resident of Hamilton, tragically lost her life in a single-vehicle wreck over the weekend, according to The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).

The collision occurred around 9:35 p.m. on March 22 at the intersection of FM 932 and FM 1241. DPS reports indicate that Fink was driving a 2010 Chevrolet pickup southeast on FM 932.

The pickup veered off the roadway, striking several objects, including a powerline pole, a fence line, and a fiber optic pole, before rolling over. Unfortunately, Fink was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.

Justice of the Peace James Lively pronounced Fink dead at the scene. The investigation into the crash remains active and open as authorities work to determine the cause of the tragic incident.
