30-Year-Old Duncan Clark Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Crash In Gratiot County (Gratiot County, MI)

In a tragic incident early Monday morning, Duncan Clark, 30, of Wheeler, lost his life in a traffic collision in Gratiot County’s Pine River Township. According to the Gratiot County Sheriff’s Office, Clark was traveling west on M-46 when his motorcycle stopped at a traffic signal at the intersection of Alger Road.

However, as a pickup heading east prepared to turn north onto Alger with a green arrow, Clark proceeded through the red light, resulting in a head-on collision with the pickup. Despite being transported to MyMichigan Health in Alma, Clark succumbed to his injuries. 

The intersection was closed for approximately two hours for investigation, with assistance from multiple law enforcement and emergency response agencies.
