According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Castaic on Thursday. The crash happened on state Route 126 at around 3:56 a.m.
According to the investigators, a white Honda Civic and a trailer were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the driver of the Honda Civic crashed into the back of an unknown trailer.
30-year-old Anthony Medina suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead following the collision.
According to the deputies, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved. The fatal crash is being investigated by the Castaic Police. There are no other details available at this time.
