30-Year-Old Alicia Ashby Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Yakima (Yakima, WA)

The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Yakima.

According to the Yakima Police Department, the accident happened at East Lincoln Avenue 300 block at around 5:15.

According to YPD, the two women were in a Subaru Impreza that went off the road and into a tree while traveling west on Lincoln.

According to reports, the 25-year-old driver fled the vehicle before being discovered nearby.

Following the collision, both passengers were taken to the hospital because they were both hurt. Alicia Ashby, 30, passed away in the hospital from her wounds. 

According to YPD, the other woman is still in the hospital.

The fatal crash is being investigated by the police.
