3 People Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Robertson County (Robertson County, TX)

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle crash occurred in Robertson County on Wednesday night. 

The crash happened on U.S. Highway 79 near state Highway 6 at around 8:30 a.m. 

The officials stated that a 2019 Jeep and a  2010 Chevrolet were involved in the crash. 

The driver of the 2019 Jeep was traveling northbound, drove into on-coming traffic, and hit a 2010 Chevrolet head-on. 

According to Robertson County Justice, 19-year-old Lainy Burnett was identified as the driver of the Jeep and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

A 28-year-old Brittany Smith was identified as the driver of the Chevrolet. An 8-year-old passenger in the car and the driver were pronounced dead at the scene. 

A 9-year-old female was rushed to Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Hospital in critical condition.

No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
