The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident in Winslow on Wednesday morning. The accident occurred on Interstate 40 in Winslow at around 7:30 a.m.
According to the officials, a single vehicle was involved in the crash. A pickup was headed down the highway when it veered into a median and then overcorrected. This caused it to swerve back onto the road and roll several times.
Three people – a 4-month-old child, a teenage boy, and a man in his 50s – were thrown out of the vehicle and incurred fatal injuries. They were pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle, along with the other occupants, were injured and taken to a hospital.
The identity of the victims have not been disclosed. There are no other details available at this time.
