3 People Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

The Tucson Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Saturday morning. The accident occurred in the area of Grant and Palo Verde at around 3:30 a.m. 

According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in a collision. A Toyota was headed north at the same time as an Audi was headed east at a high speed. The two vehicles collided as the Toyota failed to stop at the sign. 

Three people were fatally injured and were pronounced dead. Two of them died at the scene and were identified as 31-year-old Ronald Cook and 35-year-old Kristina Orantez. The third victim was taken to a hospital where they succumbed to their injuries and was identified as 19-year-old Xiomara Encinas-Cruz.

The fatal crash is still being investigated at this time.
