3 People Killed In A Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash In Antioch (Antioch, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday in Antioch. Officials confirmed that three people died due to the motor vehicle accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred in the 4100 block of Lone Tree Way. Two vehicles were speeding eastbound, and one of the vehicles clipped the other, as a result. Both the vehicles thereby lost control and slammed into a tree.

The driver of the first vehicle was identified as 28-year-old Brandon Compton. The passengers in the other vehicle were identified as 45-year-old Ramell Jenkins and his wife, 46-year-old Misty Green. Jenkins, Green, and Compton were pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.

The driver of the other vehicle who identified himself as 35-year-old James, did not sustain injuries due to the accident. Overspeeding has been identified as a reason that might have caused the collision. The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
