According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Monday in Stanislaus County. Officials confirmed that two men and a woman died due to the two-vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred at Orange Avenue and Elm Avenue in Paterson Area.
The driver of a Ram pickup failed to yield the right of way and drove into an intersection. The Ram thereby collided with a Dodge SUV.
As a result of this three people in the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. A man and a woman who were occupants of the truck were hospitalized sustaining injuries.
Other details pertaining to the accident remain unknown. The identities of the victims have not been disclosed at this time. The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
