According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred on Wednesday night leaving 3 people dead and two others injured. 

The officials reported that 46-year-old Marvin Parker was driving a Ford F-150 on New Highway 68 when he drove over the center line and hit the driver’s side of a Chevrolet Silverado. 

The Ford hit multiple trees and rocks causing the vehicle to flip ad land in a creek down an embankment. 

Officials pronounced three passengers in the Ford, Shannon Blankenship, 36, Jolynn Farner, 23, and the driver’s son Marvin Parker, 21 dead at the scene. 

The driver of the Chevy, 21-year-old Timothy Wilkerson, and his passenger, a juvenile female were also injured in the crash. 

The officials stated the driver of the Ford might be charged in the fatal crash, following the investigation.
