The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department reported a two-vehicle accident on Saturday.
The accident occurred at the intersection of College Boulevard and Vista Way at around 8 p.m.
According to the officials, a suspect was being pursued by the police from the Sheriff’s Department when it crashed into an ambulance.
Two of the paramedics present in the ambulance were taken to a trauma center for treatment of their injuries. The extent of the injuries incurred has not been disclosed.
The suspect was also severely injured in the accident.
The identities of those involved in the accident have not been disclosed.
The accident is still being investigated.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
There are no other details available at this time.
