The California State Patrol reported a multi-vehicle accident that took place on Saturday.
The accident occurred on northbound I-5, south of Twisselman Road at 11.20 a.m.
The nine-vehicle collision had occurred which resulted in three injuries.
The collision occurred when a 2023 Freightliner was traveling at high speed on Interstate 5.
According to the officials, Traffic on Interstate 5 was static and the driver was not able to react on time.
His truck rear-ended with two other semi-trucks and a 2017 Forrest River. The force of the crash caused the River to be pushed into the rear of a 2022 Jeep and a 2011 Hyundai. They also pushed against other vehicles.
The drivers of the Jeep and the Hyundai were injured. The occupant of the Forrest River was injured.
Officials reported that the injuries were minor.
Alcohol or drugs were confirmed not to be the cause.
