Three people suffered injuries following a traffic collision in Lubbock.
As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area of Avenue Q and 46th Street at approximately 1:30 a.m. after getting reports of a two-vehicle crash. The early reports showed that two pickup trucks were involved in the wreck.
According to the responders, two people suffered serious injuries while one person received moderate injuries as a result of the collision. Both northbound and southbound traffic on Avenue Q was shut down as crews worked at the scene. No further details were provided.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
