Three people suffered injuries following a rear-end crash involving a SporTran bus in Shreveport.
The two-vehicle accident was reported at 8 a.m. at the intersection of Youree Drive and Dalzell Street. The preliminary investigation indicated that the bus was stopped at a bus stop when a white SUV crashed into it from behind. Officers said that the driver of the SUV was not paying attention.
The driver and five passengers were on the bus at the time at the time of the collision. The driver of the SUV was freed from the vehicle, and two people from the bus were transported to a Shreveport hospital with non-fatal injuries. Citations are pending, officials mentioned. No other details are available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
