On Thursday, three people suffered injuries following a traffic collision in Lodi.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 3:30 p.m. near Harney Lane, just east of Lower Sacramento Road. The preliminary reports showed that the Amazon truck was involved in a collision with a passenger car. Emergency responders had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate the driver from the truck.
Three people were rushed to the hospital; two people with critical injuries and a third with delayed injuries. The road was shut down for multiple hours as crews worked to clear the scene. No other details are immediately available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
