According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Tuesday morning in Fontana.
The officials stated that the crash happened near Sierra Avenue.
The officials reported that two vehicles were involved in the crash after one vehicle drove in the wrong way and collided head-on with the other vehicle.
One of the vehicles was engulfed in flames according to the witnesses.
The officials confirmed that three people died at the scene.
The identity of the victims is yet to be determined by the coroner’s office.
It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the fatal crash.
