Police responded to a two-vehicle crash that claimed three lives. The crash happened at Alden Nash Avenue SE and 92nd Street on Monday.
The three deceased were in the same vehicle, according to the police.
Among the victims were a 79-year-old Waldron woman, the driver, and two other passengers, an 82-year-old Waldron man, and a 55-year-old Freeport man.
The 55-year-old died at the scene following the crash. The driver and the 82-year-old man died after being airlifted to a hospital.
The preliminary investigation into the crash reveals they were traveling south on Alden Nash Avenue when the car collided with a vehicle going east on 92nd street.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle sustained minor injuries from the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
