3 injured in a multi-vehicle accident on US 101 (Mason County, WA)

On Saturday, three people received injuries following a multi-vehicle accident on US 101, just north of Hoodsport.

The incident happened at around 4:20 p.m. in which three vehicles were involved. According to the reports, a 28-year-old Hoodsport driver was southbound on U.S. 101 while a 60-year-old Hoquiam driver and a 48-year-old Port Angeles driver were northbound on the same highway.

Officers mentioned that the Hoodsport driver crossed over the center line and sideswiped the Hoquiam driver’s vehicle. Then, it crashed head-on into the Port Angeles driver’s vehicle. The Hoquiam and Port Angeles drivers suffered injuries. On arrival, medics transported them to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.
