29-Year-Old Man Killed In Single Vehicle Crash in Skagit County (Skagit County, WA)

September 12, 2023- Nationwide Report® 

Officials from the Washington State Patrol reported that a driver’s attempt to evade an elk resulted in a fatal accident on Friday morning at around 5.30 am. 

The 29-year-old man who was not publicly identified was traveling westbound on SR 20 in Concrete when he made a quick maneuver to avoid the elk. This move caused the driver to lose control of his vehicle and subsequently collide with a utility pole, killing him.

Authorities added that the man was not wearing a seat belt.

The incident is currently under active investigation, with authorities diligently working to uncover more details.

The accident did not impact any other vehicles.

As of now, no additional information regarding the driver’s identity has been disclosed.
