According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Davenport on Friday. The crash happened on Highway 1 at around 3:25 p.m.
According to the investigators, an unknown person and a 29-year-old were involved in the collision. The driver of the unknown vehicle was traveling at a high speed and the car was in the water.
A 29-year-old man was identified as the driver of the unknown vehicle who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is not yet known at this time.
