According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Plano at around 9:30 p.m. The crash happened in the southbound lanes of U.S. 75 near Legacy Drive on Monday.
According to the investigators, multiple vehicles and a 29-year-old were involved in the collision. The officials stated that a vehicle rear-ended a vehicle and was struck by a semi-truck.
According to the reports, another vehicle struck 29-year-old Leah Daniels who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The officials have not reported any details regarding the vehicle involved in the accident.
The fatal crash continues to be investigated by the Plano Police. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. There are no other details available at the moment.
