According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday morning in Beaumont.
Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred north of Gilman Spring Road on Highway 79.
A vehicle rolled over and the sole occupant was ejected.
The occupant was identified as 28-year-old Wendy Velarde.
Velarde was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
Other details pertaining to the accident, including the vehicle involved have not been released yet.
The cause of the wreck remains unknown.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
