According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday night in Wheeler County.
Officials confirmed that one person died due to the accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred eastbound on SH 152.
28-year-old Timothy Currie was driving his vehicle eastbound. For unknown reasons, he veered off the roadway into the south ditch. The vehicle then rolled over and he was ejected.
Currie was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
