The San Diego Police Department reported a pedestrian accident on Wednesday. The accident occurred in the 9700 block of Distribution Avenue at around 2:00 p.m.
According to the officials, a 2010 Chevrolet delivery truck was driving through a parking lot at the aforementioned address. The driver had not realised that there was a man lying down under the vehicle and ran over him.
The man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities. The officials have reported that the victim was drunk at the time of the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
