The Fullerton Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident in Fullerton that killed a 28-year-old man on Friday.
Approximately at 9:00 p.m., a White 2006 Honda Civic was travelling east on Orangethorpe Avenue at a high speed. To avoid striking the vehicle in front of it, the Civic veered off the road into approaching traffic westbound and collided with a Nissan Pathfinder.
The driver of the Honda Civic suffered major injuries and was transported to the hospital where later he was pronounced dead. The driver and the passenger of the Nissan Pathfinder endured minor injuries.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
