According to the California Highway Patrol, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Yuba County on Monday. The crash happened near State Route 65 at around 4:41 a.m.
According to the investigators, a 28-year-old man and a white Mercedes were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the 28-year-old man was struck by a Mercedes and thrown into a ditch.
The unknown pedestrian suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead following the collision. The Yuba County Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
According to the reports, the driver of the white Mercedes that struck the pedestrian left without stopping. The officials have not released a description of the suspect or their vehicle as of the moment.
