According to the Metro Police, a motor vehicle accident occurred on Sunday morning on Hobson Pike.
The officials reported that a 28-year-old man was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead by the authorities.
Police also stated that 25-year-old Leann Sealy was the other victim in the crash. He suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries from the crash.
The crash happened when a Santa Aura heading northeast crossed the double line into the oncoming lanes of traffic. The vehicle then struck a Nissan Murano head-on at the Ole Nottingham Drive Intersection.
The Metro Police is examining the crash at the moment.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided.
