According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Killeen on Saturday. The crash occurred in the area of Westcliff Road and Moonlight Drive at around 6:46 p.m.
According to the investigators, a Mercedes and a dirt bike were involved in the collision. The driver of the motorcycle traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed struck the passenger side of the Mercedes.
The officials stated that the dirt bike rider suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Killeen Police Department has identified the victim as 28-year-old Lamar Lavance Lilly.
The accident is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
