The Temple Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Friday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was identified as 28-year-old Kenneth Holland.
Around 8:28 a.m., the crash happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 near Exit 304. The man was attempting to cross I-35 on foot, heading westbound. He was hit by a vehicle while doing so.
The man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
