The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash in Salinas that killed a 28-year-old. The victim was later identified as Juan Barrios Gracia by the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office.
Approximately at 4:54 a.m., Juan Barrios Gracia, driving a 1995 Toyota Camry along with two passengers, lost control of the vehicle. This caused the vehicle to topple down on Highway 101. Even after the medical treatment, Gracia was fatally injured and was declared dead.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
