The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash on wednesday evening. The accident happened on westbound Highway 60 at County Village Rd at around 10 p.m.
According to the authorities, the accident involved a motorcycle, a white Nissan pickup truck, and a secondary vehicle. One of the vehicles reportedly overturned on impact.
Two other people were taken to a hospital, one with serious injuries and the other with minor ones, while Rancho Cucamonga resident Abdul Kabir, 28 was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was unknown if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. Following the fatal crash, all lanes of Highway 60 heading west were briefly shut down. There were no additional details available right away.
