The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash that killed a 27-year-old woman in Buttonwillow.
Approximately at 6:09 p.m., a 27-year-old woman driving her vehicle on Highway 33, in an attempt to make a turn, lost control of the vehicle and swerved off the road. This caused the vehicle to topple down several times. The 27-year-old woman was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
