27-Year-Old Motorcyclist Was Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Crash In Placer County (Placer County, CA)

The California Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle crash that took place on Highway 65, near Lincoln that killed a 27-year-old motorcyclist on Friday. 

On Friday approximately at 5:39 p.m., the 27-year-old motorcyclist driving a 2005 Yamaha tried entering the intersection of Nelson lane against the red light. This action of his shifted the motorcycle on the path in which a 2007 Lexus was travelling westbound on Nelson Lane. 

Eventually, both vehicles collided with each other. The 27-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured and taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The identity of the motorcyclist is not yet disclosed. 

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
