In the early hours of Sunday morning, a tragic crash in League City claimed the life of a 27-year-old man. The motor vehicle accident occurred around 1:31 a.m. in the 3000 block of E. FM 646.
League City Police Department responded to the scene, discovering a single vehicle, a truck, had crashed into a ditch. The man was thrown from the truck due to the force of the collision and was fatally injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the man is not yet known at this time.
A woman who was also in the truck sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The department is currently conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
