27-year-old Juan Medina-Sanchez killed in a two-vehicle crash in Grant County (Grant County, WA)

On Thursday morning, 27-year-old Juan Medina-Sanchez, a resident of Pasco, lost his life following a two-vehicle collision in Grant County.

The fatal incident took place at about 6:22 a.m. at the intersection of Road F Southwest and SR 26 in Grant County. Medina-Sanchez failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck on the driver’s side by a semi-truck, authorities reported.

Washington State Patrol mentioned that Medina-Sanchez was declared dead at the scene. Medina-Sanchez was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, officials reported. The driver of the semi-truck was not hurt as a result of the collision. Drugs or alcohol are not believed to have contributed to the fatal crash.

An investigation is continuing at this time.
