Over the weekend, a fatal crash occurred in Laredo, claiming the life of a motorcyclist. The incident took place past midnight on Saturday on Loop 20 near Sinatra. Reportedly, a 27-year-old man, identified as Guillermo Holguin, was travelling northbound on Loop 20.
The vehicle crossed the median and collided with a Chevy Trax in oncoming traffic. Holguin was critically injured and was transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. An ongoing investigation is underway, pending autopsy and toxicology reports for both drivers.
The Laredo Police Department Crash Team is actively probing the multi-vehicle accident, awaiting the results of the deceased individual’s blood samples. Currently, no arrests have been made in connection to the case.
