27-year-old Dylan J Alford died in a single-vehicle accident in Sulphur (Sulphur, LA)

On Sunday night, 27-year-old Dylan J Alford, a resident of St. Francisville, lost his life in a single-vehicle crash in the 1600 block of Swisco Road in Sulphur.

According to reports, Alford was driving his SUV on Swisco Road at about 9:30 p.m. when he lost control and went off the road for unknown reasons. The SUV hit a utility pole and rolled several times. The impact of the collision ejected Alford from his car as he was not wearing a seatbelt. Toxicology tests will be performed, as mandated by state law.

The authorities will continue to investigate the cause that led to the fatal crash.
