25-Year-Old Woman Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Houston (Houston, TX)

A tragic incident unfolded in northwest Houston on Sunday morning, resulting in the death of a 25-year-old woman. According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the woman jumped out of a car and was subsequently hit by another car on Fairbanks North Houston Road south of Fallbrook Drive. 

The northbound lanes were temporarily closed following the collision. Sheriff Gonzalez revealed that the woman had been involved in an ongoing argument with her boyfriend and had expressed suicidal thoughts.

Despite efforts including CPR performed at the scene, she was pronounced dead at an area hospital. The sheriff’s office’s vehicular crimes division is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
