The East Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported a motor vehicle accident on March 31 in East Harris County, Texas. The crash occurred on US 90 near Uvalde Road around 1:45 p.m. 

According to the authorities, a family of five in a Toyota Prius lost control while exiting the highway, causing the car to flip several times. The mother, Tiffany Rodriguez, 25, and her daughter Ariella, 5, were ejected from the car. As a result, the victims were fatally injured and pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

The remaining family members, including an adult male and three children, were injured but expected to survive. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fatal crash. No other details are available as of now.
