The Texas Department Of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident occurred on I-35E on Tuesday. The officials confirmed that one person was killed in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was identified as 25-year-old man Mason Glenn Wilson.
The victim was driving a pickup truck along Highway 84 just after midnight. DPS said the truck went into the centre median and rolled over. Wilson was taken to University Medical Center in Lubbock. He was not wearing a seat belt. The victim was later pronounced dead.
The events leading to the collision are being investigated. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
