25-Year-Old Man Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Visalia (Visalia, CA)

The California Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle accident in Visalia on Friday. The accident occurred on State Route 43, at Avenue 56 at around 1:30 p.m. 

According to the officials, a white Ford Fusion was travelling east on Avenue 56 when a red Toyota Tacoma was headed north on State Route 56. The two vehicles were approaching each other. The driver of the Ford failed to stop at the posted stop sign and continued through the intersection and crashed into the Toyota. 

The driver of the Ford was not wearing a seatbelt and so was fatally injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He has only been identified as a 25-year-old man from Fresno. The driver of the other vehicle was identified as 33-year-old Steven Edward Nelson. There have been no updates on his injuries. 

The fatal crash is still being investigated.
