Police responded to a pickup truck crash on Rudy Road in Wayne Township, Cass County, at 1:27 a.m. on September 25.
According to the reports, a 25-year-old Southwest Michigan man crashed his truck into a tree and escaped before it caught fire. The crash happened when the man lost control of his truck, veered off the road, and hit a tree.
The driver was able to esca[pe through the driver’s side window before the truck caught fire.
The driver was evaluated at the scene and was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries.
The crash is being investigated.
